  • A film screening of MĀHŪ documentary by filmmaker Lisette Flanary, followed by post-film discussion with Kumu Patrick Makuakāne and Kumu Kōkua Kanoe Kahaku. Moderated by Professor Joanne Rondilla and Librarian N. Kepoʻo Ordinario. Performance by Hālau Nā Wai Ola.
  • The program centers hula as a sacred, living practice of Indigenous Hawaiian resistance, joy, and collective care—honoring māhū identities and Native Hawaiian understandings of gender, spirituality, and community beyond colonial binaries.
